Role Overview
We are seeking a technically capable Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role supports the Sales Manager/BDM in responding to customer enquiries, preparing quotes, and coordinating the early stages of project scoping. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in nutrition or food science and an ability to translate customer needs into viable product and pricing proposals.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, providing timely and accurate responses
Collaborate with customers to understand product requirements and assist in developing project briefs
Analyse customer-supplied or in-house formulations to support accurate pricing and feasibility assessments
Source raw materials, initial pricing and packaging by liaising with approved suppliers and collecting quotations
Work closely with internal teams (production, QA, procurement) to support quote accuracy and lead time management
Prepare detailed quotations, presentations, and follow-ups in coordination with the Sales Manager/BDM
Maintain and update CRM and quoting systems with relevant information
Provide general administrative support to the sales team
Skills & Experience Required
Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related discipline
1–3 years of experience in a sales coordination, technical support, or product development role within the food, supplements, or nutraceuticals sector
Strong understanding of ingredients, formulations, and nutritional products
Ability to interpret and analyse basic technical documentation such as product specs and formulation sheets
Excellent communication skills with a customer-first mindset
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with quoting/CRM software is a plus
