The Frankland District Country Club (FDCC) is seeking a full time Bar Manager who is passionate about hospitality. The club is located within the Frankland River town-site, a small agricultural town in the beautiful Great Southern Region, 3.5hrs South of Perth. It provides bar services, meals and functions for its members and their guests (Tues to Sat). It also provides a venue for both competition and social lawn bowls.

· FDCC Management Committee

The Role:

The Manager is responsible for:

· Hands on running of the bar, Tuesday to Saturday 5.00pm till close

· Checking customers identification (including age) and Club membership status

· Maintain stock levels and effective ordering of stock for the bar

· Organise daily till and ATM float. Banking to be done weekly and reported to FDCC Treasurer. Current drivers’ license and own vehicle is required.

· Ensure that the bar is fully staffed particularly during peak/busy times

· Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations and maintain cleanliness and organisation in the bar and restaurant areas.

· Use of POS terminal for sales and ensure the latest pricing and products are updated.

· Assist with planning for special events with Kitchen staff and Committee

The Person: Qualifications/Skills

· Current RSA and WA Approved Manager Certification (or be willing to obtain it before commencement)

· Experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in a bar environment

· Ability to multitask and remain composed in a stressful or noisy, high-pressure environment

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve common goals

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering high quality customer service

· Attention to detail and excellent organisational and problem-solving skills

· Experience of modern POS systems to facilitate orders and process payments

· Willingness to work as required for special events.

· You will be expected to carry out your duties in a diligent and professional manner with a friendly outgoing attitude. It is important that you work together with members of the FDCC Management Committee and Kitchen staff to ensure a high standard of customer service and provide an enjoyable environment for staff, members and customers alike.

Salary level will be determined on industry experience and qualifications.

Subsidised housing in newly renovated house in town included in Salary package if required.
