CITIBUILD Constructions was established in August 2015 and has grown rapidly over the past 9 years. We are a young energetic team that is passionate about all aspects of construction. We currently have a team of 110 employees and subcontractors and are looking for the right person to continue to grow with the company. We specialise in commercial office fit-outs and are constantly working on the forefront with the latest building materials so there is always an opportunity to learn and work with new systems.

The role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to join our team in Brisbane. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects and will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, with a strong focus on financial management, ensuring each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety, compliance and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Forecast and manage lead times for materials, scheduling of resources and procurement processes (gathering quotes from subcontractors and suppliers)
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders throughout the project lifestyle.
• Regularly engage with clients, facilitating project commencement and progress meetings to ensure alignment with original timelines.
• Complete ownership of budgeting, invoicing, variation claims and cost forecasting.
• Lead project meetings, prepare progress reports, organise regular inspections on site and effectively communicate project status, issues and risks to the project team and stakeholders
• Administration of Contracts. Should have prior knowledge of form 12's, Form 15's, SWMS, MDS's, Seismic Details.
• Ability to read and understand construction and architectural drawings including specifications in accordance with the architecture drawings
• Assistance in preparation and management of tenders of large-scale jobs

Qualifications & experience requirements

• Experience working as a PM / Site Manager or in a similar capacity within the construction industry with a proven track record of successfully managing projects of varying complexity and scale.
• A degree in Construction management / Project management is mandatory.
• An experienced Project Manager with 5+ years experience
• Must have experience in Commercial building including Schools and Industrial Sheds
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong problem solving skills and high attention to detail
• Experience with CostX, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Project is preferred.
• Estimating knowledge in commercial fitout i.e. Preparing and delivering estimates and budgets is preferred
• Proven critical thinking skills with clear leadership skills
