The Role

Location: Brisbane

Hours: 4 day work week (30 hours) – potential to increase to full-time.

Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 FTE (Pro Rata) + Super

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative team member to play a key support role in the creation of high-quality and engaging learning resources.

Working alongside the Instructional Design Manager, this position is ideal for someone early in their career—such as a recent TAFE or university graduate—who is looking to develop hands-on experience in instructional design with a focus on rail safety and infrastructure. No prior rail industry knowledge is required.

This role is perfect for someone with excellent writing skills, strong attention to detail, a flair for digital design, and a passion for building impactful eLearning content.

Operating in partnership with Accell, a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), we deliver nationally recognised training with a strong emphasis on workplace competence and industry relevance.

What You’ll Do

· Assist in the design and development of learning resources including assessment tools and supporting materials

· Build and update eLearning modules using a range of authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline

· Format and maintain training resources to align with internal templates

· Upload, manage and test online learning content in our LMS Axcelerate

· Collaborate with the Instructional Design Manager and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure content is accurate and suitable for the target audience

· Edit and proofread a wide range of resources and documents

· Support content alignment and mapping to nationally recognised training packages

· Participate in quality assurance checks and continuous improvement processes

· Learn and follow internal processes to ensure consistency, version control and regulatory compliance.

What You’ll Bring

· A recent or ongoing qualification in Instructional Design, Education, Digital Media and Design, or a related field

· Basic experience with authoring and design tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar

· Proficiency in Office 365 including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

· Ability to design and edit multimedia content including videos and audio (graphics and animation a bonus)

· Strong written communication and editing skills

· A keen eye for layout, formatting and consistency

· Eagerness to learn and grow in a supportive environment

· Ability to work independently

· Great organisational and time management skills

· Enthusiasm about experimenting with new digital tools to enhance learning engagement.
