KLR Communications is a strategic business development, communications and marketing consultancy headquartered in the Gold Coast. Servicing a national client base operating in exciting, secure and growing sectors, we have long-term contracts locked-in and more in the pipeline.
We are now looking to expand our design team with the addition of a Graphic and Digital Designer to lead the creative development and execution of compelling visual assets across a range of channels, including digital, print, social media, and client communications.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will have key responsibility for the overarching brand management of one of our cornerstone clients in the aged care sector that has 40 offices nationally. This includes managing brand strategy and all components of the client’s visual identity.
Close working relationships will include our Web Developer and Digital Marketing Specialist, ensuring the smooth integration of brand messaging and visual identity across all points of client interaction.
Required design services will include (but are not limited to):
Social media assets for posting across various platforms on a rolling schedule to ensure a consistent presence in the market and refreshed materials to meet changes in service focus and key dates through the year.
Brochures – a refresh of existing brochureware tailored to 40 individual offices, and creation of new materials to address industry changes.
Print and digital ads for services and recruitment activities.
Design and layout of email newsletters (internal and external).
Further brand and logo design for new offerings.
Ongoing brand management and monitoring of local office compliance.
Development and management of all branded stock for office use (e.g. letterhead, presentation folders, business cards, PowerPoint slides, information booklets etc).
Banners.
Office and vehicle signage.
Invitations.
Other branded elements (e.g. icons, diagrams, org charts etc).
Development of easily adaptable templates for use by other members of the marketing team.
You will be an innovator with the creativity and insight to bring ideas to life. You will be an excellent project manager with patience and the communication skills required to carefully manage the demands of a national office network.
Qualifications and Selection Criteria
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related field.
Proven experience as a mid to senior level Graphic Designer, Digital Designer, or Website Developer/Manager.
Strong portfolio showcasing your design and website development skills.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc) and Canva.
Solid understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, colour theory and branding.
Experience with content management systems (e.g. WordPress) and ongoing website management and development.
Experience with collaboration and time recording tools such as Monday or Click-Up and reporting against projects delivered for specific clients/offices.
Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, Hubspot).
Self-motivated when working in a remote environment, integrity, and responsibility.
Starting at 3-days per week, this role coincides with the development of our client’s new website, ensuring all design and branding is refreshed and aligned from this point forward.
The location of the best candidate is flexible, and we support remote working. However, regular check-ins will be required and if you’re in the Gold Coast, then semi-regular in-person collaboration days with other local team members will be arranged, with lunch on us! If you’re not here, we’ll conference you in!
This role has the opportunity to grow to full-time very quickly due to other client needs and possible changes to our existing design team.
The Benefits
Immediate start – June.
Salary $75,000 - $85,000 pro-rata plus superannuation
