Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and analytical Marketing Specialist to lead and execute our marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, developing promotional strategies, and supporting the brand positioning of Oceania College of Technology. This role is pivotal in enhancing student engagement, increasing brand visibility, and driving growth in student enrolments and industry partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, develop, and execute advertising and marketing campaigns to promote the organisation’s educational services in line with business growth objectives.

Advise management on advertising and promotional strategies aimed at reaching target student markets and building brand awareness.

Coordinate the production of marketing materials and campaigns, including artwork, digital media, video, and print assets, ensuring delivery within time and budget constraints.

Conduct market research and analyse demand trends to identify opportunities for new programs and improvements to existing services.

Support organisational growth by developing and implementing strategic marketing policies and programs.

Commission and manage external research to evaluate market characteristics and consumer behavior in the education sector.

Advise on key marketing elements including product mix, pricing strategies, sales promotions, and channel selection.

Develop and publish content across digital platforms including social media, websites, and email to drive engagement and enrolments.

Apply statistical modelling and campaign analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of pricing and promotional activities.

Monitor campaign performance metrics and provide detailed reports and insights to guide decision-making.

Analyse data from digital campaigns and recommend improvements to content, SEO, and engagement strategies.

Ensure all marketing activities are conducted in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements and institutional branding standards.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a marketing, communications, or coordination role.

Strong analytical, organisational, and project management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with marketing analytics, reporting, and content development.

Creative flair with the ability to generate innovative promotional ideas.

Knowledge of compliance and regulatory guidelines in education marketing is highly regarded.

Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for both organic and paid campaigns.
