About the role

As Practice Manager at Hunter Children's Clinics, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our medical clinics. In this full-time position based across our two clinics at Merewether and Carrington, NSW, you will be responsible for overseeing all administrative and operational aspects of our thriving private paediatric practices.

What you'll be doing

Manage all administrative functions including patient bookings, records management, and billing

Supervise and support a team of administrative staff, providing training and leadership

Implement and maintain robust systems and processes to optimise clinic workflows using Gentu and Covui,

Liaise with medical practitioners and allied health providers to ensure seamless coordination of patient care

Monitor and report on key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement

Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards including Medicare and NDIS

What we're looking for

Experience in a medical practice management role, ideally within the paediatric healthcare sector

Strong administrative and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail

Proven people management capabilities, including the ability to lead, coach and motivate a team

Excellent communication skills

Proficiency in using practice management software and other relevant digital tools

Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as health administration or business management
