Are you a meticulous and experienced medical billings professional? Our client, a busy and highly reputable neurosurgery practice, is seeking a Surgical Billings Administrator to join their dynamic team.

This is an excellent opportunity to manage end-to-end surgical billing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency for a high volume of complex cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all surgical claims (Medicare, private health funds, WorkCover/CTP).
• Reconcile payments and process receipts.
• Liaise with Medicare and health funds to resolve discrepancies.
• Handle patient billing inquiries.
• Maintain accurate billing records and manage debtors.
• Ensure compliance with all billing regulations.
• Assist with front desk duties when required

About You:

• Medical Billing experience, preferably surgical/specialist.
• Strong understanding of Medicare and Private Health Fund rules.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient with medical practice management software (Genie advantageous)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
