About Our Client
Our client is a leading Registered Training Organisation (RTO), delivering accredited training programs across a range of industries including business, health, construction, and community services. With a strong reputation for compliance, learner outcomes, and employer satisfaction, they are expanding their reach across Australia.
As demand for upskilling and workforce compliance increases, this organisation is seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to help grow strategic partnerships with employers and industry groups.
About The Role
As the Business Development Manager, you’ll play a critical role in driving enrolments, building B2B partnerships, and identifying new commercial opportunities. Working closely with internal training and operations teams, you’ll ensure clients receive tailored solutions that align with their compliance, funding, and training goals.
Key responsibilities will include:
Identifying and converting new business opportunities across targeted industries and sectors
Managing and expanding relationships with existing employer partners and referral networks
Working with internal teams to build customised proposals and training solutions
Attending industry events, conferences, and expos to represent the brand and generate leads
Maintaining CRM records and reporting on sales pipeline activity and results
About You
As the successful candidate for this role, you will be a relationship-driven sales professional with experience in solution-based selling. Ideally, you have worked in RTOs, education, staffing, or a regulated industry where compliance and outcomes are key. You thrive on building trust, adding value, and delivering results.
Additionally, you will bring:
Proven success in B2B sales, business development or account management
Strong understanding of the education/training landscape or a genuine interest in it
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
A self-motivated, organised approach with the ability to manage a pipeline and meet targets
Confidence to work autonomously while collaborating across teams
Salary & Benefits
$80,000 to $100,000 + Super + Car Allowance + Commissions
