Our client – a nationally respected and long-standing Registered Training Organisation (RTO) – is on the hunt for a driven and personable Business Development Manager to join their team in Melbourne.
For over 20 years, they’ve shaped the careers of thousands of fitness professionals by delivering flexible, career-focused education across the fitness and nutrition sectors. Now, they’re looking for someone who thrives on building relationships, closing deals, and driving enrolment growth across a national network of industry partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for end-to-end business development activities, including:
Student Recruitment & Lead Conversion: Proactively source, develop, and convert leads to meet and exceed enrolment targets. Use creative recruitment strategies and build industry partnerships to increase engagement.
Relationship & Stakeholder Management: Develop and nurture relationships with prospective students, club owners, fitness managers, and industry partners. Effective communication and promotion of all relevant products/services to all industry partners in alignment with sales and marketing strategies.
Collaboration & Events: Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to support enrolment objectives. Lead the execution of training events, information sessions, and Personal Development Days.
Marketing & Brand Presence: Support targeted campaigns and ensure brand consistency across all partner sites. Oversee the professional presentation of marketing collateral through regular site audits.
Data-Driven Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, enrolment conversions, and lead progression. Use insights to inform future strategies and maintain strong conversion and engagement metrics.
Enrolment Process Management: Identify opportunities in target markets for enrolment growth.
ABOUT YOU
A natural communicator who thrives in a people-first, results-driven environment.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in business development, sales, or account management (fitness industry background preferred).
Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales and conversion targets.
Skilled in stakeholder engagement, lead generation, and negotiation.
Proficient in CRM systems and the Microsoft Office suite.
Self-motivated, organised, and hungry to succeed.
Prior experience in RTO, education, or vocational training is highly regarded.
You’ve managed training or education partnerships & are passionate about helping others grow their careers.
