Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Senior SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) Specialist.
This is a long-term contract role for 12 months with 12-month extension term and up to 2 extensions, located at our client’s ACT office with onsite work arrangements. Flexible work arrangements will be considered in line with the client's Flexible Work Policy.

As the selected candidate, you will:
• Design and implement SAP HCM solutions within the SDO SAP application landscape
• Support technical activities within the HCM Team
• Resolve HCM-related production incidents, including helpdesk tickets
• Advise on SAP HCM best practices
• Analyse business requirements
• Develop or contribute to client Statements of Work
• Provide advice and clarification to end users and business stakeholders
• Provide detailed configuration and transactional information to auditors
• Guide technical feasibility and suitability of proposed changes or solutions
• Build strong working relationships with stakeholders and within the ERP Services group
• Document all system changes and attend meetings as required
• Conduct knowledge transfer to other team members

To be successful in this role you should have:
• Minimum of ten years of SAP HCM experience
• Expert knowledge of ECC6.0 HCM modules, particularly Public Sector Personnel Administration and Time Management, Payroll, Organisational Management, Performance Management, and Reporting
• Strong understanding of SAP HCM tables and data structures
• Master Data Management experience, including providing advice on data and processes
• Ability to translate business needs into functional designs
• Strong testing capabilities using real business scenarios
• Proven ability to work in a multi-client, shared services environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining quality
• Experience with HCM tools such as Document Builder, DSM Object Sync, Query Manager, Variance Monitor, Config Commander, and Spinifex
• Experience configuring and using SAP LSMW tools for data uploads and processing
• Ability to provide functional specifications for custom developments
• Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills

It is desirable if you have:
• Experience writing technical and functional documentation in Solution Manager
• Experience working in a multicultural team and multiclient shared services environment
• Prior Australian Public Sector (APS) experience
