About the Subcontracts Specialist Role

The Subcontracts Specialist Role will deliver key procurement inputs to our Defence client, develop and implement supplier tenders and contracts, influence supplier governance processes and models. You will support end-to-end procurement activities, applying value for money principles and innovative techniques.

The role will work closely with the client and end user teams, ensuring meaningful and genuine engagement occurs for successful projects outcomes to Defence.

Your Experience

Your expertise will help our clients:

Build and nurture strategic supplier relationships.

Draft and negotiate complex Defence and Defence Industry contracts.

Drive procurement innovation across our client organisations.

Ensure compliance with Defence industry regulations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver critical projects.

You will have prior experience in:

Defence contracting and procurement.

Tender development and delivery.

Contracts development and negotiations.

In order to succeed in this Subcontracts Specialist role, you will likely have or be undertaking one or more of the following:

Certificate IV in Contracting and Procurement

Diploma or Certificate in Project Management

Bachelor of Law(s)

Bachelor of Business

To be successful in this role, you will need to be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security clearance up to NV1 (must be an Australian Citizen).
