An exciting opportunity has become available for a Human Resource Officer to join our welcoming and experienced team across our clinics.
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable individual who thrives in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in human resources, with the confidence to work independently when needed and the enthusiasm to collaborate closely within a team.
This is a hands-on, on-site role where your contribution will be valued and visible. You’ll play a key part in ensuring compliance with industry standards, supporting smooth and efficient operations, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Responsibilities will include:
Recruitment and Staffing:
Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including advertising roles, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and facilitating a smooth onboarding experience for new team members.
Rostering:
Develop and manage staff rosters to ensure appropriate coverage, operational efficiency, and compliance with award conditions and workforce agreements.
Employee Relations:
Act as a key point of contact for staff, providing guidance on HR policies, benefits, and workplace matters while supporting a respectful and inclusive team culture.
Performance Management:
Support the implementation of performance appraisal systems and assist managers and staff in addressing performance-related matters constructively and fairly.
Training and Development:
Identify staff development needs and coordinate relevant training and upskilling opportunities to support continuous learning within the practice.
Compliance and Policy Management:
Ensure the organisation remains compliant with all relevant employment legislation, and maintain current, clearly communicated HR policies and procedures.
Data Management:
Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, ensuring timely reporting and insights to support decision-making and workforce planning.
Health and Safety:
Contribute to workplace health and safety initiatives, promoting a safe working environment in line with legal requirements and best practice standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in human resources management, preferably in a healthcare or general practice setting.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
