The Cerebral Palsy Support Network (CPSN) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Coordinator to effectively coordinate and deliver CPSN's human resources functions and workforce strategy. This is an opportunity to work collaboratively across the organisation, providing technical advice and support.

We have been providing high quality support, information and services to people with cerebral palsy and their families for over 25 years.
CPSN operates as a remote organisation. Most of our team are located in Melbourne, however, we have staff and managers in South Australia, Queensland and country NSW. We are open to engaging employees from any State/Territory in Australia, noting that if you are not located in Melbourne, some travel will be required to maintain in-person connections.
The Role
As Human Resources Coordinator, you will work under the general direction of the General Manager, Shared Services. You will supervise the People Officer and will use your strong interpersonal and relationship management skills to work across all areas of the organisation, providing high quality human resources and industrial relations services and advice.
You will use your technical industrial knowledge to ensure effective industrial relations, worker compliance and performance and development programs.
Your key work area functions will include:
Workforce Engagement and Recruitment: Overseeing recruitment processes, collating and analysing workforce data, developing and maintaining effective working relationships that foster a positive culture
Reporting and Compliance: Monthly reporting, including governance controls, upholding worker compliance and NDIS practice standards for human resources, implementing and supporting workforce understanding of key policy and procedure
Performance, Learning and Development: Coordinating online and in-person learning programs, upholding high intensity and complex care training needs and standards, reflecting NDIS practice standards, overseeing performance development and review processes, and supporting managers in the facilitation of performance and disciplinary processes
Industrial Relations and Remuneration: Providing accurate and timely industrial relations advice, monitoring changes to external industrial relations conditions, supporting organisation compliance, coordinating yearly remuneration review processes, ensuring CPSN's compliance with the Industrial Award (SCHADS Award), support the payroll process and serving as the back-up for payroll processing
Leadership: Working collaboratively with the General Manager, Shared Services, deliver key KPIs from CPSN's Workforce Strategy, effectively lead and support the work area to deliver required outcomes
Work Health and Safety: Supporting the workforce to understand reporting processes, maintaining a positive reporting culture and identifying hazards in the workplace
About You
You are an experience HR professional with technical experience and skills, and you are passionate about supporting others to achieve.
You bring:
Experience coordinating a work area
Industrial relations experience, including performance and development processes and Award interpretation
Experience and knowledge of the NDIS, disability services and human rights
Strong experience and understanding of the SCHADS Award, including conditions, shift rules and pay
A commitment to continuous improvement and client empowerment
