The role

We are seeking a loyal, honest, passionate, and detail-oriented Reception Administrator to join our close-knit team at our Melbourne flagship salon, located in the heart of Toorak Village.

This is a permanent part-time position, offering 34.5 hours per week, with an immediate start.

About the position

This is a fast-paced and diverse role suited to someone who thrives on responsibility and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly. You will be the first point of contact for clients, and play a key role in supporting both our front-of-house experience and the behind-the-scenes organisation of the salon.

To succeed in this position, you must be highly organised, professional, and capable of managing multiple priorities with precision and care. This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys administration and thrives in a structured, high-standard environment.

Essential criteria for applicants:

Proven experience in Reception or Administrative roles

PA or EA background is highly desirable

Strong customer communication experience, with a warm and professional approach

Excellent interpersonal and soft skills, including the ability to remain calm, polite, and inquisitive when handling enquiries and phone calls

Key responsibilities:

Manage all incoming phone calls and warmly greet clients in-store

Schedule client appointments across multiple service providers

Coordinate and maintain accurate booking systems

Handle salon emails and ensure all communication and bookings are well-documented

Support the Salon Manager with day-to-day operational tasks

Collaborate closely with the General Manager and Director to implement salon improvements and procedural updates
