About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist to join our dynamic team at the Taylors Lakes Hotel. As the first point of contact for our guests, this full-time role will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient front of house operation.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner

Handling check-in and check-out procedures

Answering and directing incoming phone calls

Manage bookings and reservations using Opera PMS

Providing information and assistance to guests about the hotel's amenities and local attractions

Monitoring and maintaining the reception area to ensure it is well-presented at all times

Assisting with various administrative tasks as required

Collaborate with internal teams (Housekeeping, Sales, Reservations, Events, Food & Beverage, Venue Management)

Adhering to all hotel policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role, ideally within the hospitality industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide a warm and friendly service

Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities to handle various tasks and enquiries efficiently

Proficient in using computer systems and office equipment, including Microsoft programs and OPERA PMS (preferred)

A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service

Flexible and adaptable to work across various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
