About the Role

We’re looking for a Business Development and Account Manager to join our ambitious team and take the lead in managing key accounts while securing new business across our portfolio of trade events—with a strong focus on agriculture and wine production.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients through sales calls, emails, and meetings

Understand the needs and goals of potential clients and present relevant exhibition opportunities

Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients

Develop client-specific growth strategies, including upselling and cross-selling services

Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure their satisfaction and renewals

Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals

Attend industry events and trade shows to network and monitor industry trends to identify new markets and offerings.

Assist the marketing and leadership teams in identifying strategies or opportunities relevant to the market and events.

Connect with industry associations to explore and develop partnership opportunities

Assist in identifying speakers, topics, and content to shape engaging event programs

Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in event sales, business development, or account management.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Confidence in working independently and as part of a team

Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
