Beerwah Hotel is seeking an experienced Admin Manager to join their team.
Beerwah Hotel is an Independently owned Hotel in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, known for great restaurant quality food at pub prices. We have a 300 seat bistro and can cater for functions from 20 to 200 people. We offer live music and entertainment 3 nights a week as well as being open for lunch and dinner 7 days.
The successful applicant will be experienced and proficient in the following:
MYOB
Excel / Word / Outlook
Payroll
Accounts Payable
Bank Reconciliations
General office duties including answering phones, taking bistro bookings etc
Data Entry
Hospitality operations in a busy Hotel or Restaurant environment at Supervisor or Duty Manager level- would be an advantage.
Experience in clearing accounts, balancing sheets and profit and loss statements
Daily Takings Sheet, Counting tills, ATMs, CRT and Gaming clearances.
The successful applicant must;
Be flexible and prepared to work in all areas of the hotel, including bar and bistro, as and when required to suit the needs of the business
Be well organised and time efficient
Have excellent customer service and communication skills
Be able to work in the Hotel office 5 days a week Monday to Friday 7am to 3.30pm including school and public holidays
Hold RSA and RSG
Be able to work in a team environment
Be a self-starter
Have attention to detail
