Property Network of Australia is seeking a Retail Administration Manager to join a leading retail property group and support the day-to-day operations of a busy shopping centre.
Our client is seeking a candidate who is available to work school hours (32p/w) so this is a rare opportunity to move into a part time role that can accommodate the flexibility some people are seeking.
This high-level administration role will be based onsite and report directly to the Centre Manager, providing essential support across accounts receivable, accounts payable, tenancy coordination, and marketing assistance. The position plays a vital role in retailer engagement and operational efficiency, acting as the first point of contact for tenant enquiries and arrears management.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly billing cycles, rent escalations, and tenant reconciliations using MRI software.
- Oversee arrears control, receipting, and bank account reconciliation.
- Process accounts payable, monitor missing invoices, and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate marketing events onsite and assist with promotional material distribution.
- Update tenancy schedules, track sales figures, and liaise with tenants for compliance documents.
- Maintain lease documentation, insurance certificates, and licence agreements in MRI.
- Respond to tenant enquiries, assess incident reports, and support HSE reporting.
- Assist with contractor coordination, inspections, and general administrative support.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a retail property or centre management environment.
- Proficiency in MRI software or equivalent property management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage billing, arrears, and lease administration.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service focus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Centre and Marketing Managers, tenants, and contractors.
