About the role

Main Street Medical Centre is a large, family oriented GP practice in Murwillumbah – Northern NSW. We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our team. You will work in a friendly, vibrant and busy environment providing quality healthcare and exceptional customer service to our patients. This is a part time position offering a min. of 3 days per week with potential growth in near future, flexibility to cover annual/personal leave as required is essential.

What we're looking for

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner

Excellent communication skills both verbal & written

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively

A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work well in a team environment

Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a customer service role within a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential.

Knowledge in using Best Practice management software, AutoMed , eftpos/Tyro is desirable but not essential.
