Medical Receptionist at Sydney Norwest Gastroenterology

We have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Receptionist / Secretary to join our team on a part-time basis in our rooms at Lakeview Private Hospital, Norwest starting in June.

We are a private Specialist Practice with a number of young and enthusiastic Gastroenterologists and Immunologist/Allergists. Details on Sydney Norwest Gastroenterology can be found here: http://sydneynwgastro.com.au

Pay will start at $25-30/hour (depending on experience) plus super and is reviewed annually. Available is a 2 day (Mon- Tues) part-time position (16hrs/week) .

Your responsibilities will include:

Greeting and welcoming patients in a professional and courteous manner

Attending to a high volume of enquiries via phone, email and in person

Scheduling patient consultations and endoscopic procedures

Invoicing, receipting and end of day reconciliation and banking

Managing and maintaining medical records (Genie Solutions) are managed confidentially and efficiently

Liaising with clinicians and staff to ensure patient needs are met

Handling general patient enquiries and providing information as required

Ensuring the upkeep and tidiness of the office

Knowledge and Experience:

Previous experience preferred but not essential.

Friendly and welcoming and well presented at all times.

Positive attitude and shows initiative.

Excellent communication and computer skills.

Ability to multi-task and prioritise with a strong attention to detail.

Ability and desire to learn new skills and to work as part of a team.
