About the role

We are seeking a friendly and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at the Mt Pritchard Medical Practice in Mount Pritchard, NSW. This is a part-time position that will see you playing a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our medical practice.

What you'll be doing

Greeting patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner

Scheduling and managing patient appointments

Handling patient enquiries and booking medical procedures

Assisting with the collection and processing of patient information

Maintaining accurate patient records and updating medical databases

Performing general office duties such as filing, photocopying and ordering supplies

Ensuring the reception area is well-presented and well-stocked at all times

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner

Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively

Proficient in using medical practice management software and standard office software

A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate patient records

A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
