Due to company growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Estimator to join our team in Perth. We’re looking for a passionate and driven professional with extensive estimating experience to manage the full tender process for medium to large-scale projects. You will take ownership of a portfolio of tenders, submissions, and BOQs, working closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, competitive proposals.

We are looking to employ a full time Commercial Estimator/Scheduler to join our estimating team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents to determine the scope of work.
• Conduct material take-offs and quantify required materials.
• Source and obtain pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Analyse labour, materials, and time requirements for tenders.
• Collaborate with project teams to assess project needs and value-engineering opportunities.
• Prepare comprehensive and competitive bid proposals.
• Stay updated on market trends and current pricing.
• Provide innovative cost-saving solutions for clients.

About You

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Commercial Estimator in the construction field and/or a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related field (candidates without a degree will be considered as long as they can prove solid work experience)
• Excellent verbal and written skills for seamless collaboration
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
