Our client, a leading Tier 2 builder, has been involved in some iconic projects here in WA. Having built a strong reputation based on previous performance, their portfolio and pipeline of work has diversified to include both private and government works, ranging from $1–$100 million. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team.

About the Role

• Analyse architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and cost plans.
• Conduct site visits and liaise with clients, engineers, and consultants as required.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing.
• Evaluate project risks and develop contingency plans.
• Prepare and present tender submissions.
• Maintain and update estimating databases and pricing systems.
• Assist in value engineering and design development reviews.
• Liaise with project managers and site teams to ensure smooth handover from tender to delivery.

About You

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in construction estimating, preferably within the commercial sector.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as CostX or Buildsoft.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Western Australia.
