About Us
We are a growing NDIS provider offering high-quality Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes in Strathfield and Hornsby. Our homes are designed to foster independence, safety, and a strong sense of community for participants. As we expand, we’re looking for a Business Development Manager who is deeply connected in the disability support sector and passionate about building strong referral networks.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and well-connected Business Development Manager to lead client acquisition and relationship management for our SIL homes. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to bring in NDIS participants—either directly or through referrers such as support coordinators, case managers, plan managers, allied health professionals, and local area coordinators.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and secure new NDIS participants for our SIL homes in Strathfield and Hornsby and other potential areas.
Secure external participants for community participation and development life skills.
Leverage existing networks within the NDIS and disability care community to drive referrals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with support coordinators, LACs, hospitals, allied health professionals, and other referral partners.
Attend industry networking events, expos, and meetings to promote services and build brand visibility.
Work closely with internal intake and care teams to ensure smooth transitions for new clients.
Track and report on business development activities, pipeline growth, and conversion rates.
Contribute to strategic growth planning and local area marketing initiatives.
Requirements
Proven experience in business development or referral management within the NDIS or community services sector.
Strong existing network of NDIS stakeholders (support coordinators, plan managers, etc.).
Solid understanding of the SIL service model and participant needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work autonomously.
Current Driver’s Licence and access to own vehicle.
NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
Desirable
Previous experience filling SIL vacancies or developing participant pipelines.
Experience with CRM tools and reporting.
Qualifications in Community Services, Disability, or Business (preferred but not essential).
