We have been asked to assist with recruiting a Project Manager to delivery and manage a variety of challenging ICT projects, delivering cutting edge technology projects spanning infrastructure, cloud, Microsoft 365, networking, digital transformation and everything modern MS stack.

This role focuses on ensuring projects are managed effectively from start to finish, resulting in the desired outcomes for the business and their clients. A focus on delivering successful projects on time, within budget, and providing the expected benefits.

This is a permanent role & offers the luxury of being hybrid which heading into 2025 is a luxury not many will be able to retain in the market.

Position-specific tasks and responsibilities:

Accelerate the throughput and efficiency of the Projects/ Professional Service Team and implement controls where needed

Ensure all internal stakeholders by way of Projects Team, AMs, and SME’s, are engaged to assist in the accurate scoping of projects

As part of Project Initiation, work with the Project Engineers and contribute to the Design and Planning of the Project, it’s subsequent task breakdown, and the supporting Project Timeline/Schedule

Act as a central repository for information pertaining to the project, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to answer questions or provide updates

Maintain a working knowledge of various technologies and platforms, including operating systems, virtualization, cloud computing, networking, storage, and security.

Ensure that project tasks are being completed on time and within budgetary constraints.

Schedule all project meetings, whether it be internal updates, client updates, or internet/external project closure meetings, with the relevant stakeholders

Communicate any risk or issues in relation to project implementation, or the project timeline, to the relevant Manager upon immediate identification

Understand the business and how technology can support and improve it, providing valuable insights and recommendations to key decision-makers. Understanding that the quickest fix is not always best for the business and that a project benefits both parties is an example of commercial acumen.

Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation

Participating in tender process i.e. design, submission and review

Managing large and diverse teams

Designing risk mitigation plans

Optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary

Skills and Experience Required:

Prince2 (Desirable and not essential)

Minimum 3 years experience as Project Manager, or in program/project support roles, working on ICT-related projects (e.g., Office365 product suite, end user compute, infrastructure/network upgrades/replacement)

Strong presentation skills

Basic understanding of Current Key Business Technologies and concepts.

Strong Project Management tool experience such as MS Project
