Your new role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of complex, high-risk ICT projects across a diverse portfolio. These projects span enterprise platforms such as SAP, Microsoft 365, and ServiceNow, and include initiatives in revenue collection, case management, detention systems, cloud migration, and generative AI adoption.

You will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery-planning, scheduling, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and reporting. You'll manage multidisciplinary teams, oversee budgets, and ensure alignment with strategic departmental goals. These roles are available in Canberra or Sydney, with long-term extensions likely.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate:

• Proven experience managing complex ICT projects in federal government or similarly complex environments.
• Strong capabilities in project governance, stakeholder engagement, and risk management.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining project schedules, implementation plans, and benefits management frameworks.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and leading cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with enterprise platforms and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and strategic insights.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Australian Citizenship is mandatory
• Active AGSVA Security Clearance at Baseline level or higher is required.
