Role Overview

As an ICT Project Manager, you will lead and oversee technology projects that drive business transformation and innovation within Red Hat. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering ICT initiatives on time, within scope, and budget while ensuring alignment with Red Hat’s strategic objectives. You will work cross-functionally with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to deploy scalable and efficient technology solutions.

Security Clearance Requirement:
This role requires an active Top Secret Australian Government security clearance (TSPV). Candidates must be Australian citizens to be eligible.

ey Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute ICT projects related to cloud computing, infrastructure, enterprise applications, and digital transformation.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with business leaders and technical teams.
• Develop detailed project plans, resource allocation strategies, and risk mitigation plans.
• Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met, using Agile, Scrum, or traditional project management methodologies.
• Manage relationships with internal teams, vendors, and third-party providers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Lead and facilitate meetings, reporting progress, risks, and dependencies to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, data governance, and Red Hat’s open-source principles.
• Drive continuous improvement, leveraging automation, DevOps, and best practices to optimize ICT project delivery.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project managers and team members.

Required Skills & Experience

• Must have an active Top Secret Australian Government security clearance (TSPV).
• Must be an Australian citizen.
• 5+ years of experience managing ICT projects, preferably within an enterprise or government environment.
• Experience working on transformation projects
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver business value through technology.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex IT environments.
• PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or ITIL certifications are a plus.
