As we enter an exciting phase of expansion and innovation, we are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project & Executive Administrator to deliver exceptional administration support to key projects across Australia, coupled with providing effective & efficient executive assistance support to the Executive Officer.
This role is ideal for someone energetic, detail-oriented, and willing to take initiative. You will work alongside a passionate national team committed to supporting Australian producers in adopting precision agriculture and paving the way for autonomous technologies.
About our Opportunity:
In support of continued growth and increased projects, we’re partnering with the Society of Precision Agriculture Australia (SPAA), to find a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Project &Executive Administrator to join their small but dynamic national team. This is a unique and flexible opportunity for someone with outstanding administration, project coordination, and communication skills, who thrives in a role that spans across both national project support and operational oversight. This fantastic opportunity is a part-time (20 hours per week), 2-year contract role, which offers genuine work-from-home flexibility (provided hours are worked during standard business times). Reporting to the Executive Officer, this role has an exciting blend of project coordination and EA/office management responsibilities.

Key Responsibility Areas:
Project Administration & Coordination:
- Track and monitor project timelines, milestones, and budgets across a range of national initiatives.
- Coordinate inputs and follow-up actions with project stakeholders.
- Maintain project documentation and prepare progress reports.
- Support data collection and reporting via platforms, such as Airtable (training provided).
Executive & Office Support:
- Provide executive assistance to the Executive Officer, including diary management, scheduling and communications.
- Manage general office operations, systems, and records.
- Coordinate travel and logistics for team events and stakeholder meetings.
- Assist in organising and supporting SPAA events, meetings, and webinars.
- Maintain and update databases, contacts, and mailing lists.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven experience in an administrative, project coordination, or executive assistant role.
- Qualifications in business, office management, project management, or agricultural studies would be advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in Office365 and cloud-based tools.
- A working knowledge of Airtable system would be advantageous, but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Familiarity with not-for-profit governance and compliance (favourable).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive, can do attitude & willingness to support and collaborate with a remote team.
- Willingness to travel interstate as required (1-2 times per year).
