The position: Development Manager– Sydney based

Purpose of the role: To generate new business, develop solar, wind, BESS and hybrid projects and carry out supplementary tasks to ensure that the Business Development team reach their set targets.

Duties and Responsibilities

To originate, develop and optimise solar, wind, BESS and hybrid projects

To manage the development of a portfolio of in-house developed, introduced and/or acquired projects from initiation to financial close

To lead and/or coordinate bids for Capacity Investment Scheme contracts

To develop new business opportunities

To develop strong working relationships and liaise closely with other business divisions including engineering, planning, grid, energy markets, delivery, legal and finance to assist in the development of projects

To assist other developers by carrying out supporting activities when needed.

To understand and develop company strategies and develop business and business practices accordingly.

To work with the Development team and other departments to improve processes and efficiency.

What we're looking for

Education and qualification

Bachelors Degree in related discipline.

Services - Carries out project development. Quickly and successfully implements changes and improvements in operational activities and services. Effectively carries out tasks that are required by the Development team in addition to carrying out own role.

· Management of development projects from initiation to financial close
