About the Role
This pivotal role will see you directly supporting our eCommerce Manager in leading our dedicated sales and customer service team. You will be instrumental in enhancing our online customer experience, managing administrative functions, and providing exceptional service to our valued customers across Australia via phone and email. We are looking for a natural leader with initiative, innovative thinking, strong multitasking abilities, and the composure to excel in a high-pressure, results-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide proactive leadership and support to the Administration & Customer Service team.
Collaborate with the eCommerce Manager to ensure data integrity and optimisation across our websites.
Champion outstanding customer service, resolving inquiries and issues effectively via telephone and email.
Manage online order processing, follow-ups, quotation generation, returns, and other critical operational tasks.
Drive the team to achieve and exceed sales and operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Contribute to the continuous improvement of daily processes and procedures within the eCommerce department.
Serve as the primary escalation point for complex customer service matters.
Undertake general office administration and other duties and tasks as required to support the team's success.
To Excel in This Role, You Will Bring:
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior customer service position, ideally at a Team Leader level or higher.
Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think clearly, identify urgent priorities, and act decisively.
Demonstrated experience in managing multiple tasks and scheduling workloads effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for engaging diverse stakeholders.
A tech-savvy approach, comfortable operating in a digital-first, paperless environment.
Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
Certain extra skills and qualifications will be highly regarded:
Previous experience within the eCommerce industry.
Product knowledge in lighting and air movement.
Proficiency with sales processing and dispatch software.
Familiarity with NetSuite ERP.
