We're a dynamic and growing business in the marine industry, and we're seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with excellent customer service skills to join our team as an Administrative & Customer Service Assistant. In this crucial role, you'll be the friendly and efficient point of contact for our clients while also ensuring the smooth and accurate operation of our administrative processes.

What You'll Be Doing (and Excelling At):

Mastering the Details: Accurately managing and maintaining all administrative records, databases, and filing systems (both digital and physical).

First-Class Customer Care: Professionally handling customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person (if applicable), providing accurate information and resolving issues efficiently and courteously.

Communication Hub: Professionally handling general phone calls, emails, and other correspondence with clients, suppliers, and team members, ensuring clarity and precision in all communications.

Data Dexterity: Accurately entering and managing customer and administrative data, and identifying any discrepancies or inconsistencies.

Problem-Solving Pro: Identifying and resolving both administrative and customer service issues with efficiency and a focus on finding the right solution.

Supporting the Team & Our Customers: Providing general administrative support to various team members as needed, and proactively assisting customers with their needs and inquiries.

What You Bring to the Table:

Proven experience in an administrative role and in a customer service position where attention to detail and positive interactions were key.

Exceptional organisational and time-management skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of your work.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, friendly, and customer-focused demeanor.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience

The ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to both administrative tasks and customer needs.

A strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and providing excellent customer experiences.

A positive attitude, empathy, and a willingness to learn and adapt.

Bonus Points For:

Experience in Xero or Monday.com

Familiarity with CRM systems and customer service best practices.

Experience with basic digital file management.
