About Firerite Services:
For nearly 30 years, Firerite Services has been a trusted leader in the fire protection industry, known for delivering high-quality design, installation, and maintenance solutions across Southeast Queensland. We are a values-driven company with a strong focus on people – our clients, our partners, and our team. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join our vibrant Service Department team.
About the Role:
This is more than just a customer service job — it’s a key role within our service delivery team, focused on providing outstanding support to clients through timely quoting and proactive communication. Based at our Archerfield office, you’ll be the first point of contact for a wide range of clients, ensuring every interaction reflects Firerite’s high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary contact for clients including facility managers, business owners, and government representatives.
Prepare and issue accurate quotes and follow up with clients to gain approvals in a timely and professional manner.
Manage and respond to incoming service department emails and phone enquiries, ensuring prompt attention to work orders, quote requests, and scheduling needs.
Liaise with internal field technicians and subcontractors to coordinate service delivery.
Use job management software (Uptick, AroFlo) to process tasks efficiently and maintain accurate records.
Prepare customer reports and ensure compliance documentation is completed as required.
Issue purchase orders and assist with general administrative support.
What You Bring:
A passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong ability to build rapport with clients.
Experience in quoting or client coordination, ideally within the fire protection industry or a related technical field.
Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with job scheduling software is a plus (especially Firemate, Uptick, or AroFlo).
A proactive, tech-savvy mindset with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
The ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer:
A supportive and inclusive workplace culture that values collaboration and personal growth.
The opportunity to work with experienced professionals on varied and meaningful projects.
Stable, weekday working hours from our Archerfield office.
Be part of a company that plays a vital role in keeping people and properties safe.
