About the Role

Arva Connect is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations and drive efficiency across all aspects of production. You'll be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, managing our factory team, and ensuring we consistently deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of factory hands and production staff

Provide training and support professional development

Foster a collaborative and safety-focused work environment

Handle staffing requirements including scheduling and workforce planning

Production Planning & Scheduling

Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery commitments

Coordinate with sales, procurement, and logistics teams to optimise workflow

Monitor production capacity and adjust schedules to maximise efficiency

Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives

Quality Assurance

Establish and maintain quality control procedures and standards

Conduct regular quality inspections and audits

Investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective actions

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements

Operations Management

Monitor production metrics including output, efficiency, waste reduction, and cost control

Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods

Oversee equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs

Implement safety systems and ensure workplace health and safety compliance

Prepare production reports and present performance data to senior management

What We're Looking For

Minimum 5 years of production management experience in a manufacturing or building environment

Proven track record of managing teams and meeting production targets

Strong knowledge of quality management systems and lean manufacturing principles

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and compliance requirements

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
