Taproom & Events Manager - Moonah Tas

Join The Albert Brewery in Moonah, Tasmania. As the Taproom & Events Manager, you'll represent our award-winning beer products, overseeing Taproom operations and external events. In this hands-on role your responsibilities include managing staff, coordinating rosters, controlling inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Taproom front and back of house

Managing all aspects of external events including registration, scheduling and execution

Manage and execute Taproom financial reconciliations, including cash handling and balancing

Management of stock control and beer operations

Lead, hire and train Taproom & Events Staff with a view to creating a welcoming customer experience

Manage all staff scheduling and performance management

Monitor Taproom performance to identify opportunities for improvement

Developing and driving marketing and sales opportunities including management of social media output for Taproom and Events

Ensure Taproom complies with all food and beverage legislative requirements

What we're looking for

Proven experience in Hospitality management, with minimum 5 years in the food and beverage industry

Strong leadership skills and the ability to work under pressure

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Someone who is proactive

A passion for independent beer and the local Tasmanian food and beverage scene

Must have a current RSA and valid drivers license

Must have the flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
