About Omnidian

Omnidian, Inc. is a fast-growing Series C tech-enabled service company revolutionizing performance assurance for the distributed solar and energy storage industries. Omnidian is building a more sustainable future for the planet through our passionate teams, our innovative technology, and by creating an amazing customer experience.

We are headquartered in the US and began our Australia team in 2022, with exciting growth since then. In 2025, Omnidian acquired Solar Service Guys, Australia’s largest dedicated solar service network, delivering industry-leading support across the full lifecycle of solar PV systems for over 17 years. Headquartered in Brisbane, SSG is known for its nationwide reach and expertise in design, monitoring, maintenance, and repair of solar systems for residential and commercial clients.

Omnidian’s AI-powered performance assurance platform supports over 380,000 asset years of data and now extends its reach into the Australian market—further enhancing service capabilities through this strategic partnership. Together, we’re delivering cutting-edge support and unmatched customer experience to solar investors across the globe.

The Job

Omnidian Australia is at a pivotal moment. We've proven the value of our solar servicing model through bespoke deals — now it's time to refine and scale.

As our Product Manager, your job is to take our strong foundation and shape it into a repeatable, scalable, and market-leading service offering. You’ll define and package our products so they resonate with customers, generate leads, and are consistently deliverable by our operations team.

Reporting to the VP of Growth, and collaborating with the President (Australia), Marketing Manager, and U.S.-based Product team, you’ll lead the charge in translating what we can do into what we should offer — building clarity in our go-to-market motion, streamlining proposals, and enabling more effective delivery through standardisation.

This is a role for someone who knows how to align market demand with internal capability — who can see both the customer experience and the operational reality — and who knows that the best products aren’t just sold, they’re built to be delivered.

While we have a preference for those based near Melbourne, location is flexible for the right person (but must be in Australia).

Work-life and Culture

Work-Life Flexibility: Opportunities to work remotely, with 20 days of paid time off annually (accrued) and 10 days of sick leave annually (accrued).

Comprehensive Compensation: Competitive salary, performance bonuses, and equity stakes.

Culture of Growth: A collaborative environment with mentorship and opportunities for career advancement.

Inclusive Community: Global affinity groups, supportive policies, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Passionate team: We are mission-driven and believe in collaboration, mutual respect and trust.

We are a passionate, mission driven team that believes in collaboration, mutual respect and trust. For examples, see: https://www.omnidian.com/insights/topic/discover-our-story/

What You'll Do

At Omnidian we believe in trust and autonomy. How you create an impact is ultimately up to you. Here is an outline of some of the things you’ll be doing:

Product Design (50%) - defining products to meet the needs of the market

Define our core service offerings — packaging up our most valuable and repeatable capabilities into clear, marketable “products”

Develop standard pricing models, inclusions/exclusions, and proposal templates that reduce ambiguity and increase sales velocity

Collaborate with Marketing to ensure product offerings are clearly articulated in lead-gen campaigns and web content

Work with Sales (President, Australia and VP Growth) to refine how offers are positioned, pitched, and evolved based on market feedback

Partner with legal counsel to ensure service offerings are reflected accurately in contract terms and commercial agreements

Product Delivery (50%) - working across the team to prototype and deliver to meet client expectations

Translate product definitions into clear operational workflows — working with the operations team to define handoffs, SLAs, and delivery responsibilities

Working with the software engineering team, identify where technology, automation, or documentation can drive efficiency and reduce bespoke effort

Build feedback loops between delivery and product so we can evolve what we offer based on what works

Who You Are

You exhibit many of the following:

Product & Commercial Acumen

You have a strong understanding of how to define, position, and price service offerings in a way that drives both customer value and business margin

You bring a commercial mindset to product decisions and are comfortable navigating trade-offs between customer desirability, operational feasibility, and profitability

Operational Thinking

You understand how work gets done — and can translate product definitions into clear, repeatable processes

You’ve worked closely with operations teams before and can balance the needs of scale with flexibility

Project & Stakeholder Management

You’re skilled at managing complex, cross-functional initiatives involving sales, marketing, operations, and legal

You can influence without authority, align stakeholders around a clear plan, and keep things moving across multiple workstreams

Communication & Documentation

You’re a clear, concise communicator — in proposals, internal docs, and stakeholder updates

You can distil complex ideas into digestible formats and ensure alignment across commercial, delivery, and legal teams

Customer & Market Insight

You’re curious about customer needs and market dynamics — and know how to turn insights into better products

You value evidence over assumption and use data, feedback, and patterns to guide decisions

Experience You’ll Need

5+ years in product, strategy, or operations roles — ideally in a B2B environment

Proven experience defining and packaging service offerings

Strong exposure to cross-functional collaboration across commercial and delivery teams

Excellent communication, facilitation, and synthesis skills

Experience That's a Plus

Experience working in a startup and/or scaleup environment

Background in residential solar and/or storage

Timeline

We plan to have this role start by the beginning of August.

Compensation

Range: $102,000 - $138,000 a year

Midpoint: $120,000 plus superannuation

Committed to Parity: We place candidates within the band based on professional experience, not negotiating skills, as part of our overall effort to avoid gender pay discrepancy.

Performance Bonus: Because exceptional work deserves exceptional rewards.

Equity Stake: Join us in shaping the future and be rewarded for your dedication with stock options.

Continuous Growth: Up to $500 annual learning reimbursement because investing in your development is investing in our success.

We strongly believe that diversity of experience, perspectives, and background will lead to a better environment for our employees and a better product for our customers. We are committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment. We value diversity and inclusion and are committed to ensuring our hiring and retention practices, as well as our office culture, reflects this value.

We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please contact us to request accommodation.

We hire without consideration to age, ancestry, citizenship, disability, gender expression, gender identity, marital status, national origin, political activity or affiliation, race, religion, sexual orientation, veteran status, or any other basis protected by law.
