About the Role

As our new Salesperson, you’ll be responsible for driving business growth through proactive lead generation, quoting, estimating, and converting new work across civil construction and earthmoving sectors. You'll be supported by a capable team, but expected to take initiative, chase opportunities, and help build a strong pipeline.

Understands civil works, plant hire, or earthmoving operations

Key Responsibilities

Generate and pursue leads via cold calling, walk-ins, inbound web enquiries, tender platforms, and existing databases

Accurately prepare estimates, quotes, and proposals based on plans, site visits, or BOQs

Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, builders, local councils, and project managers

Represent the company professionally both in the office and out in the field

Collaborate closely with operational staff to ensure accurate quoting and successful project delivery

Follow up on proposals and tenders to drive conversion and gather market feedback

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in sales, estimating, or project coordination within the civil or construction industries

Existing network of contacts in SEQ civil or earthmoving is highly desirable

Strong understanding of scopes such as site cuts, pad preps, driveways, subdivisions, or bulk earthworks

Exceptional communication, organisation, and negotiation skills

Self-starter attitude with the initiative to generate leads and chase opportunities

Well-presented, professional, and reliable

Valid Driver’s License (essential)

Confidence using CRM, email, quoting software, and basic digital marketing tools
