About Us:

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Trainer and Assessor to deliver and support the Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design (RII60520). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and professional academic team and help shape the future of aspiring civil designers.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver and assess the Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design in accordance with the training package and industry expectations
Develop, update, and contextualize learning and assessment materials to ensure relevance and compliance
Provide engaging classroom-based and online training to local and international students
Monitor student progress and provide timely academic support
Participate in validation and moderation activities
Maintain accurate records of training and assessment in line with RTO and ASQA requirements
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the training department
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and practices to ensure training delivery remains aligned with workplace expectations
Essential Requirements:
Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant Australian industry experience in civil design, civil drafting, or engineering
Relevant qualification in Civil Construction Design, Civil Engineering, or Civil Drafting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of civil construction standards, practices, and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
Desirable (but not mandatory):
TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or TAE40110 with required upgrades)
Previous experience in delivering or assessing vocational education and training
Experience with international student cohorts or CRICOS delivery environment
