Join Our Dynamic Team as a Civil Construction Manager!

We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Manager to join the team on a permanent full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing small to medium civil jobs, with previous experience as a Civil Supervisor or Foreman.

The Role:

As the Civil Construction Manager, you will be pivotal in managing and delivering the Civil components for our business. This role requires a hands-on approach, with responsibilities spanning from quoting jobs to overseeing their completion. Working within a medium sized construction and development business, supporting residential and civil construction projects, with sites located across Brisbane

Key Responsibilities:

Budgeting, quoting and estimating jobs accurately and efficiently.

Managing and monitoring projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules, quality standards, deadlines, and budgetary constraints.

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards throughout the projects.

Ensuring sub-contractors and equipment are coordinated and appropriately appointed to maintain the construction program.

Overseeing the progress of work, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Managing budgets and resources effectively.

Coordinating and supervising the AR Civil Team, sub-contractors, suppliers, and consultants to deliver quality projects on time, and within budget.

What We’re Looking For:

To succeed in this role, you will have:

Previous hands-on experience as a Civil Foreman/Supervisor. This is not an office job, this is onsite working with the civil team, as well as doing what’s needed in the office such as planning, budgeting, workflows and cost monitoring.

The ability to oversee and run 2-3 civil sites and teams, including machine operators, labourers and sub-contractors.
