About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time experienced Audio-Visual Installation Technician with excellent technical skills to join a well established team in Melbourne

Since 1979, we have been the preferred supplier and integrator of audio-visual solutions for education, government and corporate clients.

You will be working with a team that has very high standards installing the best and latest technologies such as LED Video Walls, Data Projectors, Commercial Audio, Control Systems and Video Conferencing Systems to name a few.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, the following qualities are essential:

A minimum of 3 years experience is preferred working with collaborative and/or audio visual technologies.

Understanding of IT Networking and IP Configuration

Great work attitude and excellent networking skills

Ability to lead and contribute to AV & Control System installations - involved in projects from its initial stages through to final installation/completion, including providing client instruction and training.

Understanding of AV fundamentals including signal flow, equipment functionality and limitations, wiring terminations and interconnects, custom programming.

The ability to provide technical support for all projects and trouble shoot over the phone or on-site.

Experience with installing, testing and commissioning of custom AV, Control and Video systems

Current drivers license and white card , red card certificate with ACA (open cable) registration required

An excellent communicator with a strong technical ability.

Knowledge and understanding of applying the "right tools for the job"
