Forma Living is currently seeking an IT Support Technician to join our team, delivering high-quality IT support and solutions, servicing multiple entities across our Group in Victoria. The IT Support Technician is the frontline of our internal helpdesk and plays a critical role in resolving technical issues, supporting IT infrastructure, and ensuring seamless operations across the business

Key Functions/Responsibilities

Provide technical support face-to-face or remotely, and solve computing problems in a timely manner

Assess and identify software, hardware and network issues

Identify, download and install appropriate software specific to the needs of each individual users

Implement computer networks

Monitor hardware for issues and perform necessary maintenance or repairs

Diagnose and troubleshoot complex and unusual technical issues

Perform data backup and recovery to ensure system integrity and availability

Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of hardware to ensure optimal performance

Document hardware, software and network issues, and review processes and procedures

Key Capabilities and Experience Criteria

Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently

Work well under pressure and able to prioritise work accordingly

Have good communication and listening skills

Enjoy communicating with people with patience, energy and respect

Have the flexibility to work on a rotating shift and on-call

Have knowledge of operating systems, hardware operation, leading software, local and wide area networks

Maintain proper documentation

Prepare management reports

Work under pressure independently and as part of a team

Act with integrity in all communications

Skill Level/ Relevant Qualifications

· Relevant qualifications or at least 3 years of relevant experience
