The role of the Operations Manager is to act as the lynchpin between the Acquisitions Department, Contracts Department, Finance Department, Accounts Department, Build Support and Property Management team.
Reporting directly to the General Manager you will be responsible for the communications internally as well as externally to ensure that all operations from Property Presentation stage through to the letting of the property is at its optimum and to continually be looking for ways to improve and enhance its efficiencies.
The Position:
It will be a critical part of the role to be able to act as a second pair of hands where required in each division, therefore a thorough understanding of the journey and each role is crucial to be successful in this role. Whether it be sourcing and preparing property packs, creating and issuing of contracts and providing client updates/invoicing, it will be an extremely hands on roll and the success of the business and its ability to scale in line with the business mission directly correlates with your ability to control this level of operation.
Job Details and Responsibilities:

- Oversee and influence the contracts department, making sure it is running to its full potential and constantly looking at new ways and initiatives for it to operate at its optimum level
- Support the post land settlement division of Build Support, making sure the builders are communicating effectively to REIF and therefore REIF to its clients
- Be the main point of contact with builders/developers/suppliers on current finance deals post EOI stage, making sure contracts are received in a timely manner, providing finance updates and having extensions supported if required
- Working closely with the Broker Finance Manager, to make sure milestones are met on time and that the finance team have what they need from a contract perspective to achieve these milestones
- Collaborate with the Acquisitions Department, to oversee and assist with property supply, introducing new potential vendors whilst making sure the handover from Acquisitions to the Contracts department is seamless
- Communicating effectively with external solicitors and other relevant facilitators to ensure the smoothness of each deal.
- Assisting the Accounts department where required to make sure key milestone payments from suppliers are received in a timely manner and that all internal departments are working cohesively to achieve these outcomes
Must Have:
- Previous contracts manager/administration role
- BDM or similar experience working for a builder, specifically a project builder
- Thorough understanding of finance, in particular investment construction finance
- Management experience
You will need to have extremely strong personal skills both inbound and outbound, excellent phone manner, strong attention to detail with a likeable personality. You will be liaising with a gamut of different areas and personas so being able to keep strong relationships with them all is crucial for your success (and REIF's)
