Victoria Point Sharks Sporting Club is excited to offer the opportunity for a forward-thinking Operations Manager who is keen to stamp their personality on this family orientated venue and assist the Club and its members to maximise their opportunities. The modern and family friendly club has recently completed a significant renovation providing function rooms, a bistro, café, bars, and a wide range of services to members and guests.

Due to the promotion of the current Operations Manager to GM, the Club is seeking a passionate community club Operations Manager to join their management team.

Working closely with the General Manager, this role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Club’s operations to ensure it functions in a highly professional manner and at maximum efficiency.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Leading daily operations with professionalism and efficiency

Driving gaming revenue and player loyalty

Ensuring compliance with club regulations and legislation

Promoting exceptional customer service across all departments

Supporting and mentoring staff to foster a positive team culture

Boosting revenue and profitability through innovative initiatives

Managing stock control, reporting, and inventory procedures

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in a similar club or hospitality operations role

Strong understanding of gaming operations and loyalty systems

Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills

Experience in compliance and regulatory environments

Demonstrated ability to increase customer satisfaction and team morale

Hospitality or management qualifications (Cert IV or higher preferred)
