About the role:
Our client is a steadily growing Data A.I & Cloud Consultancy with aggressive growth plans across the next couple of years. As a result, we are looking for a self-starter with pure hunter instincts. You’ll roll up your sleeves and use a variety of methods to generate fresh new leads and manage the end-to-end sales process. You will have the full support of the business from the CEO to consultants and technical support, along with all the tools and training required to allow you to win.
This is a newly created role with endless potential for the right candidate to turn this into a Management role and grow the team.
About you:
You’re a real 'go-getter' who has impressive abilities to open doors and find opportunities. You understand that Sales is a numbers game, and you're willing to pump out the numbers to get the results. You do this through prospecting, cold calling, regular events, and other lead generation methods. Someone who isn’t afraid to put themselves out there and generate the big new leads through your contact networks, LinkedIn, or by picking up the phone to make the connection.
You’re all about being social and building long-term client relationships. Most importantly, you know your area of expertise well and have a record of success. You appreciate technology and understand the use of Cloud, Data, and A.I Business Consulting
You'll have come from an outbound new client sales or business development role, working with Cloud technologies. AWS is preferred.
We would look at Junior to Mid-level candidates who have 2+ years in cold sales, but they must have a track record and have sold Cloud and understand the offering.
Your Skills and Experience
- 2+ years in a cold sales role selling cloud services.
- MUST BE a pure hunter who can hit the ground running.
- MUST HAVE A very strong understanding of AWS and cloud solutions.
- Previous experience working within a similar all-new business development role in a professional services/consulting organisation or AWS Partner.
- Currently working with major Tier 1 enterprise-scale and government clients.
- The ability to work in a consultative and collaborative way.
- Proven experience building a brand-new sales pipeline in various industry sectors.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
