The Role

As our Line Marking Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates and tender submissions for projects of all sizes. This role requires:

A keen eye for detail

Strong industry knowledge

The ability to interpret site plans and specifications efficiently

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for line marking projects (roads, car parks, warehouses, schools, etc.)

Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents

Conduct site visits to assess project scope and conditions

Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure accurate pricing

Track ongoing tenders and follow up with clients

Assist in securing new business through competitive, well-prepared tenders

Requirements

Proven experience in line marking or a related civil estimating role

Strong understanding of surface preparation and line marking processes

Ability to read and interpret site plans and drawings

Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Current driver’s licence

Desirable

Experience with public tenders or local council projects

Knowledge of relevant industry standards and safety regulations in Victoria
