Our line marking division is undergoing rapid growth and operates day and night, 6 days a week. Our capabilities include thermoplastic extrusion, spray cold applied plastic, paint truck and road marking.
About the role
We’re seeking a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to lead our line marking division. Based out of Bayswater with flexible work-from-home options, you’ll play a key role in managing operations, driving efficiency, and ensuring high-quality service delivery across a range of civil and infrastructure projects.
What you'll be doing
End-to-end accountability for the operational delivery of the line marking business unit.
Manage and coordinate all line marking operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards
Oversee the planning and scheduling of line marking projects, allocating resources effectively to maximise productivity
Manage staffing levels and subcontractors
Provide support to day and night shift leaders
Liaise with clients to ensure project requirements and timelines are met
Assist estimating team in quoting projects and identifying new business opportunities where required
Monitor and report on key performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement
Ensure compliance with Ozmarks Group’s management systems and safety standards
Liaising and coordinating with Surface Coatings Operations Manager where required
Continuously improve and mature operational processes and systems
Conduct site visits and auditing where required
What we're looking for
Proven experience managing line marking operations in civil construction, council maintenance, or asphalt reinstatement
Strong leadership and communication skills
Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, coordinate and deliver complex line marking projects
Thorough understanding of line marking standards, techniques, materials and equipment
Manage machinery and equipment fleet
Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
A current and valid driver’s license (site visits required)
