Looking for a Draftsperson / Estimator with Auto Cad experience for our expanding Gate and Fencing business

We are looking for at least 2 Years + Worth of experience and evidence to show skills especially in drafting

Our factory is located in Sunshine North West of Melbourne.

We specialise in:

Gates & Gate Automation, access controls & car park entry systems.

Feature fencing, Pool fencing & Boundary fencing including steel, wrought iron, aluminum, timber paling & Colorbond.

Key responsibilities include:
Requirements for this position are:

Strengths to ensure designs on CAD are accurate and can be conveyed to the team

Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD/Inventor

Revise and update existing drawings to reflect changes in design

Rendering of projects for clients

Prepare layouts, schematics, and technical documentation

Preparing of material quantity lists for pricing, procurement and manufacture

Working in an estimating team to secure new projects

Take final site measures and sketches

The ability to convert site sketches to digital drawings for shop drawings or final As Built drawings

To be successful in this role you will have:

Be reliable with excellent attention to detail and customer service skills

Minimum two years of CAD

Have excellent rendering skills for client presentation

Be capable of liaising with a wide range of stakeholders including the client, consultants and suppliers

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

A valid Australian driver’s license ( Must )

Your own vehicle to and from work ( Must )

Available for immediate start for successful candidates with varied great rates depending on experience & skill level.
