The position provides a diverse experience and a chance for professional growth within the R&A group, where you'll gain exposure to the three divisions of the organisation: R&A Commercial, R&A Residential, and R&A VIC-Stage 1 Specialists.

The ideal candidate will have a residential and/or commercial background in construction with a go-getter attitude.

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of our projects, ensuring each project is completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Using Data build and Sim-pro, prepare accurate and detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and peer checking

Issue purchase orders and job documentation to relevant trades and suppliers

Tender out packages as required to relevant suppliers and review trade quotes

Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, trades, suppliers, and contractors

Ensure all projects are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively

Document control

About You:

What You’ll Bring:

2 - 3 years’ experience in a residential estimating role

Qualifications in Building, Construction, or relevant trade background highly desirable

Solid understanding of construction processes and terminology

Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritise effectively

High level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic

Exceptional time management and communication skills

Analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem-solving
