Pay rate : $38.00/hr -$42.00/hr (based on experience )

About the Role
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our finance team. This role is vital to the smooth operation of our accounting functions and involves end-to-end client billing, receipting, debtor management, and general accounts administration support. This position is ideally suited for someone with experience in aged care or a similar complex billing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Client invoicing and receipting for permanent, respite, and home care clients
- Maintain and update customer account and billing data
- Manage aged care fees, means-tested contributions, and sundry billing
- Process and reconcile RAD, donations, and government funding receipts
- Perform daily banking, allocations, and monthly bank reconciliations
- Monitor the accounts receivable email inbox and follow up on queries
- Generate statements, follow up overdue payments, and manage collections
- Prepare month-end reports and assist with audits
- Liaise with internal teams and external software providers as required
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Proven experience in accounts receivable and office administration
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional standards
Desirable:
- Experience in an aged care or healthcare finance environment
- Familiarity with complex aged care billing systems and models
- Qualification in Office Administration, Bookkeeping or Finance
Compliance Requirements:
- Annual influenza vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination
- NDIS Clearance
