Join a dynamic finance team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment! We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to take ownership of end-to-end receivables, collections, and customer account management.

Key Responsibilities:

Generate and deliver weekly debtor reports to the Senior Accountant

Process customer payments (cheques, direct deposits, credit cards, webstore transactions)

Ensure timely collection of accounts in line with 30-day trading terms

Manage escalated customer disputes and resolve issues promptly

Reconcile major customer accounts accurately and efficiently

Monitor and report on overdue accounts, bad debts, and DSO performance

Proactively contact customers by phone/email to follow up outstanding payments

Prioritise collections based on risk: on-hold customers, disputes, and repeat offenders

Process new credit applications and manage credit limits

Maintain accurate records and up-to-date filing (scanning, documentation, etc.)

Respond promptly to internal and external customer queries

Support general finance admin duties and contribute to a well-organised team

What You'll Bring:

Previous experience in accounts receivable or credit control

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Experience with accounting software (Sage preferred; or similar also an advantage)

Must have intermediate to advanced Windows Suite skills.

Ability to work independently and meet collection targets
